RoastSong.fm (“RoastSong”, “we”) generates personalized AI songs based on inputs you provide. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don’t, please don’t use the site.

You must be at least 13 years old to use RoastSong. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority where you live), you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed these terms and consents to your use. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

By using RoastSong you also confirm that you have permission to reference the person the song is about, or that the song is clearly affectionate (a roast of your own dad, a tribute for a friend, etc.).

Don’t use RoastSong to create songs that:

• Bully, harass, dox, threaten, or defame anyone
• Contain hate speech, slurs, or any sexual content
• Contain sexual or suggestive content involving minors (zero tolerance)
• Reproduce copyrighted lyrics or impersonate identifiable artists
• Violate any law or the terms of the AI providers we rely on (Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Stripe)

Friendly roasts of friends, family, coworkers, and partners are the point of the product. Cruelty is not. We can remove songs and block accounts that break these rules — we don’t pre-screen inputs but we do log and review at our discretion.

You own the song we generate for you and you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, and display it so we can deliver it back to you. We may use de-identified inputs and outputs to improve the product (for example, tuning prompts so the jokes land harder).

Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms. Prices are shown in USD before checkout. All sales are final once the full song has been delivered — but if something is broken on our end (e.g. the song never generates), email us and we’ll refund or regenerate.

EU/UK consumers: because your song is digital content delivered immediately after purchase, by completing checkout you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery begins. This doesn’t affect the broken-on-our-end refund promise above or any non-waivable rights under your local law.

Songs are generated by large language and music models. Outputs can be unpredictable, may not match your expectations exactly, and may occasionally contain factual or contextual errors. We don’t guarantee accuracy, suitability, or that any particular line will be funny. Use the regeneration option if you want a different take.

We try to keep the site up but we can’t promise zero downtime. Generation depends on third-party APIs (Anthropic, ElevenLabs) that can rate-limit or error out. If a generation fails after payment, contact us and we’ll make it right.

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to RoastSong is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US $100, whichever is greater.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
